If you are thinking “Tyla! Water!! 🫗” I feel you, but no. She represents South Africa’s Amapiano music, or as she said: “The global impact that ‘Water’ had on the world just proved that African music can be pop music too”.

Don’t sleep on the resurgence of electronic music this year. David Guetta teamed up with OneRepublic
for “I Don’t Wanna Wait” and it has that classic 00’s festival energy written all over it. Guetta and OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder built the song around the melody of “Dragostea Din Tei” by the Moldovan Eurodance group O-Zone. You can practically feel the summer heat when that beat drops.
