Last week we said there was something new coming at Streema. After several months of hard work, we are proud to announce our new iPhone application: Simple Radio.
At Streema, we’ve been wanting to develop a mobile application for a long time. Additionally, it was the #1 most popular request we got from our users over the past few years. Finally, this year we made it happen!

Well, I wondered what I had happened. I have been using Streema to listen daily to my favorite classical radio station, WCRB in Boston using my android phone and Galaxy Tablet Pro. I went in using my network server. All of a sudden it stopped working. Now I understand why.
First, I have to say that to ‘cut off’ android users from using Streema without simultaneously launching an android App is really unfair. I now have NO way to listen to WCRB until you get around to launching your promised Android app. Why did your launching your iOS app “require” blocking access to Streema via a network server?
Second, why do you application folks always launch Apple Apps first? According to Forbes, “The most recent data from IDC shows that for Q3 of 2013 Android made up 81 percent of devices shipped. You read that right—four out of every five smartphones shipped in Q3 were built on Android. Meanwhile, Apple’s iOS scraped by with a sad and distant second place figure of only 12.9 percent.”
So thanks for “loving us too!” but why don’t you trust “loving us FIRST.”

Was happily using you simple radio app, until you put out the dreaded update. now it shuts down constantly and is basically useless. using it on an iPhone 5. have gone back to tunein radio app.
I’m afraid I must apologize for my Jan 30 criticism. Turns out my iPhone 5 had a battery issue that necessitated a recall. battery replaced, radio app works perfect again.
