New Settings section and more cool stuff for the Streema application on Facebook!

Hello Streema users!

We’ve been working hard on the Streema Facebook application and we now bring you another update on this front.

Following the release of the Streema Profile Tab a few weeks ago, we’ve launched a Settings section which groups all the integrations points for Streema. The Settings section may not sound like something that really kicks ass, or something to throw a party for, but it will really enable you to configure and customize your Streema experience even more. : )

Some of the key features you’ll be able to set up in this section are:

Streema on Facebook - Main Profile Box– Profile Box: A box that displays the 5 latest radios played by you in your profile (see image on the left).

– Status Update: Allows you to update your Status on Facebook when you’re listening to a radio.

– Notification Emails: Enables us to notify you via email every time you receive a Recommendation from your friends.

Recommending Radios on our Facebook Application!

Streema on Facebook - Recommend SectionHello Streema users!

This time we bring you an update concerning our Facebook application: we’ve just launched a Recommend section! It’s similar to the Messages section on our website, where you can recommend a radio to a friend, write them a message, or do both! The difference is that now, you’ll be able to this with your friends on Facebook. Check it out!

Also, we have two additional Facebook application announcements. The first is that we just released a simple Community section, that for now only displays two familiar charts: “Hottest of the Last Hour” and “Hottest of the Last Week”. The second is that we are working hard to adapt our application to the demands of the new profile redesign, which means we’ll be launching a Profile Application Tab and a Narrow Profile Box among other things.

Continue Improving our Facebook Application!

Hi Streema users! We would like to share with you some of the improvements we’ve made to our Facebook Application.

  • Good bye to pop-up blockers!
    Finally, we’ve found a way to avoid having you change your web browser’s pop-up blocker to use our app. This is a big improvement since many new users had problems using our application when they would click on the play buttons and our pop-up with the media player didn’t come up. If you were one of those, be sure to check out our new version!
  • Showing a larger number of Recent Listeners
    We’ve have increase the amount of Recent Listeners to 10 Friends. They now appear with a larger picture too, hope you like this change! =)
  • Removed the box with the Friends who have added Streema
    We’ve removed this box since we figured there was other information that was more appropriate for the “Home” section. For now you can see the friends who have added the app in the About Page, although soon we’ll be developing a few more community aspects to our app which will include that information.
  • Additional station info in the pop-up player
    The pop-up which contains the player and the radio station info also includes a link to the radio’s homepage and a Report Link to inform us when a radio is not working – just like at Streema.com! =)
  • FAQs Update
    We’ve updated our our FAQs section. If you have any doubt about this or anything else, visit our FAQs or drop us a line!

Before we leave, we also want to pre-announce that soon we’ll be launching a series of Charts as we’ve done on Streema.com along with notification emails to keep you updated.
